The Queen concerts of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra are sold out

The Queen concerts ‘A Kind of Magic’ at the Sibelius Hall on 30-31 August and 1 September 2006 are sold out. The performances are conducted by Jaakko Kuusisto, who has also made new orchestral arrangements for the concerts. The soloist is Vocal Ensemble Rajaton.
Due to the great demand, the Queen concerts will be performed with Kuusisto and Rajaton again in the autumn of 2007. The concerts are on successive nights on 23-25 August 2007, altogether three concerts. The ticket sales will commence on 2 January 2007 for single tickets; group sales and advance reservations (kristiina.palvanen@lahti.fi) will begin in the autumn of 2006.
