Because of Covid-19, an Emergency Law is being enforced in Finland, and on 16 March 2020 the government outlined the need for public gatherings to be limited to ten people as an additional measure to tackle the coronavirus situation. These guidelines are valid until 13 May 2020. The Lahti Symphony Orchestra’s concerts have been cancelled in accordance with official regulations until 13 May 2020.

‘Dive into the orchestra’ gives the audience the experience of being part of the orchestra and hearing the music from the performers’ perspective. The conductor stands in the middle of the Sibelius Hall’s Forest Hall, with the orchestra and audience around him. In this way the listener can feel total immersion in the sound.
