For decades the Lahti Symphony Orchestra has been putting on May Day concerts; this is part of the Lahti May Day tradition. Whilst the coronavirus epidemic prevents public gatherings from taking place, the Lahti Symphony Orchestra is presenting its traditional May Day matinée free online starting at 1 pm on 1 May 2021. The concert last approx. 1 hour and will also be available to watch later.

The Lahti Symphony Orchestra reserves the right to make changes to the programmes and timing of concerts if the restrictions are required by the coronavirus infection situation in the spring of 2021
