THE OSCARS – Night at the Oscars
Music can turn night into day, dialogue into poetry, and screen reflections into something tangible; only music can really bring moving pictures to life. Welcome to the Oscars, where the most unforgettable melodies from Hollywood – from The Bridge on the River Kwai and Dr Zhivago to the nostalgia-filled melodies of Jaws and E.T. – will be played under the baton of the British conductor Michael Seal. The concert will be hosted by Venla Award-winning music documentary filmmaker Pekka Laine.
